F.A.Q.

What is this?
Check the about page.
What is a snippet?
In IT terminology a snippet is a piece of programming code which is usually stored somewhere for later usage. Of course it's always fun to share with friends your latest uber-cool asm hack which turns a chicken into an egg. This is where snippify.me comes in handy.
How do I use it?
To use snippify.me you need to register on this website using OpenID. After that is pretty simple. Just add snippets. Tag them. Make them private or public. Share with friends and so on.
Can I use it outside this site?
You can use snippify.me using plugins OR you can grab the source code of the entire project and install it on your intranet to use it privately with your work folks - if you do so please tell me - i'll be glad to know.
Why plugins?
It's just too much time to get on the snippify.me, login, post a snippet, check, recheck and so on. This is why I made a few plugins for major IDE's like Activestate Komodo, Eclipse, Netbeans. Also there is an extension for Firefox and maybe for Chrome too - if I'm not very lazy.
